Justin Bernard

Head Coach

Hi my name is Justin Bernard and this will be my 4th year as Head Coach of the Acton Boxborough Revolution. During my time at AB, I have coached WRs, QBs, RBs, LBs and have served as the Strength and Conditioning coach during the off-season. Before coaching at AB, I worked as the Offensive Coordiantor at Cambridge Rindge Latin High School where I am currently entering my 8th year as a high school history teacher.

Prior to my professional life, I played football at Saint Anselm college in Manchester, NH. During my time at Saint Anselm, I broke and currently hold the D2 NCAA reception record with 386 catches. I also rank top 10 all time in all WR categories.

Football has always been a huge part of my life whether it be on the field, off the field, or through the relationships I have built with coaches, teammates, colleagues, and players. Our young men have been working really hard and I look forward to this upcoming season.

Mike Morris

JV and Varsity WR/RB Coach

Hello, my name is Mike Morris and I am the Head JV and WR/RB coach. This will be my 7th season as a Varsity Assistant Coach. For my day job, I teach PE and Health here at AB where I am also the Varsity Basketball Head Coach, and JV Baseball Head Coach. I graduated from ABRHS in 2011.

Alberto Monteiro

Dear Acton-Boxborough football community,

I'm Alberto Monteiro, a dedicated S.T.E.M. teacher at Brighton High School and a former captain and Defense Coordinator of its football team. Football has been my passion since childhood. With experience coaching at high school and pop warner levels, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of football in shaping young minds. It's more than just a sport; it's a vehicle for building strong, compassionate leaders. As we embark on this season together, let's unite in our pursuit of victory while embodying the essence of teamwork, discipline, and excellence. I am thrilled to join the Revolution!

Jovohn Bernard

Special Teams Coordinator
and RB Coach

Hello my name is Jovohn Bernard and I have been coaching since 2020. My first season was coaching for my alma mater, Cambridge Ridge and Latin School. I am now entering my fourth season with Acton Boxborough as the Special Teams Coordinator and Running Back Coach. My playing experience includes 4 years at CRLS and a Post-Grad year at Bridgton Academy before concluding my career at Franklin Pierce University.

Darius Morkeski

Offensive Line Coach

My name is Darius and I graduated from LHS in 2014. After high school I attended Fitchburg State University where I majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in History. Before graduating in 2019 I started for 3+ seasons at Left Tackle for the falcons.

Jeff Despagne

Defensive Line Coach

Hi my name is Jeff the new Defensive Line coach for the Acton-Boxborough Revolution. A little bit about myself I was a 3 year Varsity starter for Randolph High School in the early 2000s. I also, attempted a collegiate career for a junior college after graduating high school. Unfortunately my short lived attempt to continue my playing career hasn't stoped me from playing football, for 10+ years I have played for various competitive flag football leagues. I’ve also coached an all woman’s flag football team for 7 years. Along the way I studied and worked as a strength and conditioning coach for Athletic Republic. During that time I also started and continue to work as a personal trainer. I am a very knowledgeable, creative and enthusiastic individual that is very excited to work with this team to bring big success to the program.
